Thankfully l still stumble upon locations that make me feel like I was dropped there by a time machine. They are towns where piazzas are the main sources of information and entertainment, old folks serve as security cameras, crucifixes adorn public spaces next to stickers of soccer players and naked women, and bars display Christmas decoration year round. There seems nothing pretentious about those places, be its people or buildings, rather pure rawness. How refreshing!
